Soccer Recap: Bolton Comes Up Short

Bolton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 7-1 to the Covington Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 4-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Their goal came courtesy of Musa Bakry, which was the first he's scored this season.

Bolton's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Covington, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bolton will challenge Kingsbury at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Covington will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Jackson South Side at 6:00 p.m. on March 24th.
