Maxwell is 7-2 against Quincy since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Panthers will square off against the Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Maxwell will be strutting in after a victory while Quincy will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, Maxwell didn't have too much trouble with Biggs as they won 49-34. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Levi Velasquez and Skyler Long. Velasquez had a great game and threw for 223 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes. Meanwhile, Long was balling out in the loss, rushing for 105 yards and five TDs, while also throwing for 140 yards on nine of 18 attempts.

Maxwell didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Luke Pearson and Landon Barrett.

Meanwhile, Quincy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Biggs 36-6. The matchup was a 6-6 toss-up at halftime, but the Trojans couldn't quite close it out.

Maxwell now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Quincy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Friday's game might be decided in the trenches. Maxwell has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 224.6 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Quincy, though, as they've been averaging only 79.6 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?

Everything went Maxwell's way against Quincy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Maxwell made off with a 43-23 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Trojans' Anthony Warndorf, who threw for 224 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
