Gross Catholic is on a three-game streak of home losses, Roncalli Catholic a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Gross Catholic Cougars will welcome the Roncalli Catholic Crimson Pride at 7:15 p.m.

Gross Catholic is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Concordia two weeks ago (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Gross Catholic was beaten by Concordia 57-29. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roncalli Catholic). They came out on top against South Sioux City by a score of 80-69 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Crimson Pride as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Roncalli Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Gross Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Things could have been worse for Gross Catholic, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-46 loss to Roncalli Catholic when the teams last played back in December of 2024.
