Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Academy Triumphs + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lutheran, Jefferson Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against The Academy Wildcats by a score of 3-1. For the Jaguars, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Jefferson Academy found their leader in freshman Tailey Sengdara, who had 11 digs and two aces. Those 11 digs set a new season-high mark for Sengdara.

Despite the loss, The Academy had strong showings from Jaelyn Farmer, who had 13 digs and two aces, and Olivia Deleon, who had 20 digs and two aces. Farmer has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

The victory got Jefferson Academy back to even at 2-2. As for The Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Jefferson Academy is taking a road trip to take on Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for The Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Lutheran on the 29th.
