Baseball Game Preview: Ingraham Rams vs. Bishop Blanchet Bears

The Ingraham Rams will square off against the Bishop Blanchet Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Ingraham is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Nathan Hale just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 5-2 to the Raiders.

Ingraham got a good showing from Caden Morris, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Morris has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ingraham saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Kwon, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Bishop Blanchet came up short against O'Dea on Wednesday, falling 10-1.

Ingraham's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Bishop Blanchet, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Everything went Ingraham's way against Bishop Blanchet in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Ingraham made off with an 8-1 win. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
