Baseball Game Preview: Goshen Eagles vs. Highland Home Flying Squadron

The Goshen Eagles will square off against the Highland Home Flying Squadron at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Friday, Goshen made easy work of Pike County and carried off a 12-4 win. Considering the Eagles' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Grant Taylor made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only a hit while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. Taylor was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
