Jack Johnson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.
