After a string of six wins, Malibu's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the San Marino Titans. If the Sharks were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Titans when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Malibu's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for San Marino, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Malibu wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Centennial on the 1st. As for San Marino, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 win against South on the 1st.
