It was a good run, but Georgia Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a hard 47-33 fall against the Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Warriors are ranked 99th).

Georgia Christian's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-3. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.

Georgia Christian will welcome Citizens Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, they will square off against Brookwood at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
