Softball Recap: St. Luke's Falls to New Canaan in First Game of Season

St. Luke unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the New Canaan Rams by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday.

Lucy Millones was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was Gianna Colon, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Luke's will venture away from home to face off against Cheshire Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for New Canaan, they will challenge Weston at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
