Volleyball Recap: Pickerington Central Comes Up Short

Pickerington Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Westerville North Warriors. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Pickerington Central was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17.

Pickerington Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Westerville North, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Pickerington Central has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Olentangy Orange on the 12th. As for Westerville North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Licking Heights on the 12th.
