Volleyball Recap: Narragansett Mariners vs. Tolman Tigers        
        
		
             On Tuesday, Narragansett faced Tolman in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Narragansett Mariners fell  3-1 to the Tolman Tigers. The Mariners' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
 While Narragansett ultimately came up short, they really made  Tolman work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 21-25,  26-24.
 Leading Tolman to victory were  Clara Perez and  Mariana Gonzalez.  Perez  had seven  digs and five  aces, while  Gonzalez  had eight  digs and two  aces. That's the most  aces  Perez has posted  in her last eight  games.
 Narragansett's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Tolman, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record  this season.
 Narragansett will square off against Central Falls at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Central Falls has won five straight at home, while Narragansett won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Tolman, they will welcome Ponaganset  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Ponaganset will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something Tolman surely won't give up without a fight.
