Softball Recap: Rowland Hall Winged Lions vs. North Summit Braves

Sadly, Rowland Hall is still looking for their first win of the season after six matches. They fell 23-18 to the North Summit Braves on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (16), Rowland Hall still had to take the loss.

Rowland Hall got a massive performance out of Jane Borst, who scored three runs and stole six bases while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of BB Comoros, who scored three runs while going 3-for-2.

Even though they lost, Rowland Hall hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Summit struck out six times.

On North Summit's side, SHEA CHRISTENSEN was incredible, scoring five runs and stealing a base while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances. Another player making a difference was ZOEY ADAMS, who went 3-for-6 with a home run, three runs, and two RBI.

Rowland Hall's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for North Summit, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5.

While Rowland Hall had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
