Mountain View has gone a perfect 10-0 against Mesa recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Toros will square off against the Jackrabbits at 3:45 p.m. Mountain View will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
Mountain View took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Perry, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Toros narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Pumas 5-3.
Daniella Gloria spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on nine hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kylynn Sylvester, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. She has been hot, having posted at least one home run the last five times she's played.
Meanwhile, Mesa hadn't done well against Westwood recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Jackrabbits walked away with a 21-16 victory over the Warriors. The win was some much needed relief for the Jackrabbits as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.
Brooklyn Isom was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and five runs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (six). Another player making a difference was Arianna Munoz, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4.
Mesa lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Mountain View's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Mesa, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-8.
Mesa's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Mountain View has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.9 hits per game. It's a different story for Mesa, though, as they've been averaging 12.6 hits. Given Mountain View's sizable advantage in that area, the Jackrabbits will need to find a way to close that gap.
Mountain View took their win against Mesa in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 20-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Toros since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
