Basketball Game Preview: Arbor View Aggies vs. Bishop Gorman Gaels

The Arbor View Aggies will face off against the Bishop Gorman Gaels at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Arbor View came up short against Spring Valley and fell 67-57. The Aggies haven't had much luck with the Grizzlies recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Bishop Gorman is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Mater Dei. Bishop Gorman was dealt a 74-42 defeat at the hands of Mater Dei. The Gaels were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-20.

Bishop Gorman's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-6. As for Arbor View, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Arbor View was taken down by Bishop Gorman 73-44 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bishop Gorman's Kenzee Holton, who went 9 of 16 en route to 27 points and three steals.
