Basketball Recap: Lighthouse Christian Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

With a playoff win on the line, Lighthouse Christian rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Mid-Missouri HomeSchool Mavericks by a score of 67-59. This was a revenge game for the Chargers: when they faced off against the Mavericks back in February, they had to take a 58-54 loss.

It was another big night for Judah Louderback, who posted 19 points and eight rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games he's played. Lee Stinson was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Lighthouse Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They are 21-4 when they've passed the ball that well.

Despite the loss, Mid-Missouri HomeSchool still got an impressive performance from Kyle Aulgur, who almost dropped a double-double with 24 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Kaden Hayes, who shot 40% from the field on his way to 15 points and eight rebounds.

Lighthouse Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-10 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Mid-Missouri HomeSchool and nudges their season record down to 23-14.

Looking ahead, Lighthouse Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lighthouse Christian has given up an average of 54.9 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Mid-Missouri HomeSchool, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Oklahoma F at 7:25 p.m. on Wednesday.
