Baseball Game Preview: Churchill Bulldogs vs. Blair Blazers

The Churchill Bulldogs will challenge the Blair Blazers on Tuesday. Churchill has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 21.

On Wednesday, Churchill didn't have quite enough to beat Hayfield and fell 4-3.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Blair, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past Seneca Valley 13-2 on Monday. The Blazers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by six runs or more this season.

Jacob Wright was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases and three runs. Another player making a difference was Aidan Carle, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Blair was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Seneca Valley only posted a batting average of .118.

Blair's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Churchill, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
