Baseball Recap: Sebastian River Comes Up Short

Sebastian River fell victim to Melbourne and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Sharks haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Sebastian River's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Melbourne, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sebastian River will venture away from home to take on Central at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Melbourne, they will head out to square off against Harmony at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
