Volleyball Recap: St. Croix Falls Beats Ladysmith for Their Fourth Straight Win

St. Croix Falls waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ladysmith Lumberjacks. That's more bragging rights for the Saints, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While St. Croix Falls won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20, 25-22.

Britta Olson paced St. Croix Falls' offense, picking up 19 kills. Olson got some help from McKenna Warner and her 25 assists. Warner also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Rylie Lien, each putting up two.

St. Croix Falls' win bumped their record up to 20-11. As for Ladysmith, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-22 record this season.
