Volleyball Recap: Sneads Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sneads was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Wakulla War Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 11th.

While Sneads was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 25-11.

Despite the loss, Sneads saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Morgan Veilleux had 16 digs and three aces. Veilleux has been hot, having also posted 15 or more assists the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was LaRay Gibbs, who had 21 digs.

Sneads' defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Wakulla, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Sneads has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Blountstown on the 2nd. As for Wakulla, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Suwannee on the 2nd.
