Preview: Longview Christian vs. First Baptist Saints

Longview Christian suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They suffered a rough 43-23 loss at the hands of Heritage Christian. Longview Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, First Baptist entered their tilt with Trinity School of Texas with 15 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 16. First Baptist claimed a resounding 75-15 win over Trinity School of Texas on the road. First Baptist has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 23 points or more this season.
First Baptist's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emily Kate Jones, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 19 rebounds. Jones is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Meredith Quinn, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Longview Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for First Baptist, they pushed their record up to 21-3 with that win, which was their 13th straight on the road.
Longview Christian was dealt a bruising 64-25 loss at the hands of First Baptist in their previous matchup on January 9th. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Longview Christian was down 33-12.
