After flying high against LaVergne last Friday, Franklin came back down to earth. The Admirals fell just short of the Gallatin Green Wave by a score of 23-20 on Friday.

When it comes to explaining why Franklin lost, don't look at Joseph Panaia. Despite the final result, he rushed for 163 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. The Admirals also got help from Miles Putnam, who showed off his sure hands for 130 receiving yards.

Don't try to pin the team's loss on the defense: they kept the trenches locked down and allowed a mere 3.2 yards per carry. While two picked up at least two total tackles, Zyan Brown stood above the rest. He made two total tackles. Franklin's ground attack was stronger, having averaged five.
