Basketball Recap: Miller Grove Comes Up Short

Miller Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Columbia Eagles and fell 53-25. The contest marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Caleb Calhoun and Nashaun Porter, who each put up five points. Anwar Molette held things down on the boards with six rebounds.

Miller Grove's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Columbia, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.
