Volleyball Recap: Whitewater Whippets vs. Valders Vikings
Whitewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Valders Vikings.
Sydney Schilt paced Whitewater's offense, picking up seven kills. Schilt got some help from Mya Graves-Koran and her nine assists.
Valders was led to victory by Mariah McCulley and Audrey Wagner. McCulley had ten digs, while Wagner had nine assists and three digs.
Whitewater's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Valders, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
Coming up, Whitewater will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. As for Valders, they will head out on the road to face off against Random Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
