Basketball Recap: Lennox's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Lennox waltzed into their game on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Dell Rapids Quarriers by a score of 49-40. This was payback for the Orioles, who suffered a 74-63 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Dell Rapids' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Kloth, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds. Kloth is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Tad Tjaden, who went 5-for-12 on his way to 11 points.

Lennox pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Dell Rapids, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lennox will challenge Beresford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dell Rapids, they will square off against Garretson at 7:45 p.m. on Monday.
