Soccer Recap: Fulton Comes Up Short

Fulton lost to Marshall back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hornets came up short against the Owls, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, Fulton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 206th, while Marshall are ranked 65th).

Fulton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18-2. As for Marshall, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Fulton will venture away from home to challenge St. Francis Borgia at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Marshall, they will welcome Camdenton at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
