Basketball Recap: Belmont Takes a Loss

Belmont lost against Alcorn Central back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Belmont Cardinals fell 43-36 to the Alcorn Central Bears. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Belmont's record now sits at 4-17. As for Alcorn Central, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-10.

When Belmont and Alcorn Central next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Belmont will try to stop Ingomar's five-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Alcorn Central will take on Corinth and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
