Softball Game Preview: West Boca Raton Bulls vs. Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves

The West Boca Raton Bulls will head out on the road to square off against the Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

West Boca Raton can't be to happy about their upcoming road game considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Wednesday. They fell just short of Archbishop McCarthy by a score of 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Bulls in their matchups with the Mavericks: they've now lost four in a row.

Teagan O'Neill was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. O'Neill was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one triple and one stolen base.

O'Neill wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Erin Hill, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Oxbridge Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Palm Beach Central on Saturday and fell 3-2.
