Boyertown lost to Upper Merion Area back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Bears blew past the Vikings 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bears have posted against the Vikings since October 22, 2020.

While Boyertown won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17, 27-25.

Boyertown has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Upper Merion Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Boyertown will square off against rival Owen J. Roberts at 6:30 p.m. on the 23rd. Meanwhile, Upper Merion Area is set to take on their familiar foe Spring-Ford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
