Basketball Recap: South Greene Takes a Loss

South Greene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 60-42 bruising from the Chuckey-Doak Black Knights. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-49 back in December of 2024.

South Greene's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Chuckey-Doak, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Greene has already played their next matchup (against Johnson County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Chuckey-Doak will be playing in front of their home fans against Hampton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Chuckey-Doak is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
