Basketball Game Preview: Sylvan Hills Bears vs. Parkview Patriots

The Sylvan Hills Bears will venture away from home to challenge the Parkview Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sylvan Hills is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Sylvan Hills was beaten by Vilonia 66-36. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 141st, while the Eagles are ranked 23rd).

Meanwhile, Parkview came up short against Maumelle on Tuesday and fell 50-41.

Parkview dropped their record down to 8-14 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Sylvan Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.

Sylvan Hills came up short against Parkview when the teams last played back in January, falling 46-42. Can Sylvan Hills avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
