Soccer Recap: Collins Hill Takes a Loss

Collins Hill lost against Mountain View back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Collins Hill Eagles lost 3-0 to the Mountain View Bears. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Bears are ranked 61st).

This is the second loss in a row for Collins Hill and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Mountain View, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Collins Hill will take on Frederica Academy in a tournament on Thursday. Frederica Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Collins Hill surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mountain View, they are taking a road trip to square off against West Hall at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Mountain View is facing West Hall at the right time seeing as West Hall is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
