Jayden Jackson Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Franklin got the W thanks in part to Jayden Jackson playing the best football he has all season. Jackson rushed for 286 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 17.9 yards per carry. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in December of 2023. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Jackson is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Little River Academy on Friday. Jackson rushed for 217 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per carry the last time he and the Bumblebees duked it out back in November of 2023.

Tim Grice Goes Supernova in C.H. Yoe Win
C.H. Yoe's five-game losing streak is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Tim Grice. Grice was unstoppable on Friday, picking up 147 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 91 yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an incredible 92 yards.
C.H. Yoe's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Grice and C.H. Yoe will challenge Troy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Erik Sheppard Dazzles in Rockdale Loss
While Rockdale might've come up empty on Friday, Erik Sheppard wasn't going down without a fight. Sheppard was unstoppable, picking up 124 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Rockdale's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-3. Sheppard and Rockdale will venture away from home to face off against McGregor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Brody Allen Leads Little River Academy over Rockdale
Little River Academy was led to victory by Brody Allen, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Allen rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 233 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt.
Little River Academy moved to 1-5 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak. Allen and Little River Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Franklin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Radyn Hamilton's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
On Friday, Rockdale had to settle for second even though Radyn Hamilton put up the best numbers he has all season. Hamilton rushed for 59 yards and three touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made seven total tackles.
On the season, Hamilton has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 29 rushing yards per game.
