Softball Recap: Refugio Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Refugio's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Woodsboro Eagles on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Refugio's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Woodsboro, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

When Refugio and Woodsboro next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Refugio will take on Kenedy and their five-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Woodsboro will try to stop Skidmore-Tynan's four-game winning streak when they meet at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
