Volleyball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield lost against Central Minnesota Christian back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Bluejays, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13, 25-11.

Kendall Krueger paced Springfield's offense, picking up nine kills. Krueger got some help from Sophie Mude and her 13 assists.

Springfield has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Central Minnesota Christian, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4.

Coincidentally, Springfield and Central Minnesota Christian will both be playing Murray County Central the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Rebels at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Bluejays will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
