Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Wins High-Profile Contest Against Columbus

Kennedy faced Columbus in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Knights came out on top against the Sharks by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kennedy pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Columbus, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedy will challenge Truman at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Columbus, they will face off against Bronx High School of Science at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolverines will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Sharks surely won't give up without a fight.
