Baseball Recap: Greene County Comes Up Short

Greene County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Isabella Mustangs, falling 15-1. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in March of 2022.

Greene County's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Isabella, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greene County will head out to challenge Demopolis at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Demopolis will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Greene County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Isabella, they will head out on the road to face off against Aliceville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
