The Northampton Yellowjackets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mathews Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Northampton lost 14-4 to Nandua on Thursday.

Ortavia Rogers was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelsey Hearn, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Mathews' offense. They came up short against Gloucester on Wednesday, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Blue Devils' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
