Basketball Recap: Andrada Polytechnic Comes Up Short

Andrada Polytechnic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-46 heartbreaker at the hands of the Patagonia Lobos. The Mavericks were not able to make up for their loss to the Lobos from their previous meeting back in January.

Despite the loss, Andrada Polytechnic still got an impressive performance from Chasen Lewellyn, who posted 15 points. Joseph Brickey was another key player, putting up nine points.

Andrada Polytechnic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coming up, Andrada Polytechnic and St. David will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. As for Patagonia, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against St. Augustine Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
