Softball Recap: Magnolia Comes Up Short

Magnolia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 14-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Woodlands Highlanders. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly five runs.

Magnolia's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for The Woodlands, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Coming up, Magnolia will venture away from home to face off against Klein Forest at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Woodlands, they will host Cinco Ranch at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
