Soccer Recap: Garces Memorial Takes a Loss

Garces Memorial managed to keep up with The Palmdale Aerospace Academy until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Garces Memorial Rams might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins an easy 4-1 victory. That's two games in a row now that the Rams have lost by exactly three goals.

Garces Memorial now has a losing record at 4-5-2. As for The Palmdale Aerospace Academy, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Garces Memorial will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Central at 11:00 a.m. on January 4, 2025. As for The Palmdale Aerospace Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Burroughs at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Palmdale Aerospace Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.
