Basketball Recap: Glencoe Falls Short of Century in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Glencoe can now relate to. They were beaten by the Century Jaguars 77-47 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Crimson Tide in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now lost seven in a row.

Glencoe's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Century, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

While Glencoe had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
