It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Edwardsville can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Belleville East Lancers on Tuesday. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Savannah Ford and Eve Eberlin certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Ford had 15 assists and eight digs, while Eberlin had 13 digs. Ford is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Edwardsville's loss dropped their record down to 25-12. As for Belleville East, they are on a roll lately: they've won 23 of their last 28 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-8 record this season.
