Recap: Ramsey vs. Ridgefield Park

The Ramsey Rams won the last time they met up with the Ridgefield Park Scarlets, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Ramsey took their contest against Ridgefield Park on Tuesday by a conclusive 67-38 score. The margin was wide but not a surprise since the spread was 10 points in the Rams' favor.

The matchup started off well for the Rams, whose offense put up 32 first-half points. Ridgefield Park countered with 11 points, leaving the score at 32-11 going into the half. Ramsey's offense just added to that total in the second half en route to their big win.

The top scorers for Ramsey were senior Steven Turk (15 points), senior Jaden Quinerly (13 points), and senior Sean Hansen (13 points).

The win was the fourth in a row for Ramsey and raised their record to 15-6. The Scarlets' defeat pushed them down to 10-8.

The Rams will take on Fort Lee today. Ramsey won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings. As for the Scarlets, they will go up against River Dell on Friday. Like Ridgefield Park, River Dell is looking to wash their mouths of the taste of defeat after falling 63-55 to Dwight Morrow.
