Volleyball Recap: Croatan's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

West Carteret typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Croatan proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Patriots. The win was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won four matches in a row.

Croatan was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 20-25, 25-23, 25-13.

Croatan's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for West Carteret, their defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Croatan will host Eastern Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Carteret, they will take on Hunt at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
