Softball Recap: Bibb County Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bibb County). They came out on top against the Gordo Green Wave by a score of 8-4 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Choctaws, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bibb County's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Gordo, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Bibb County and Gordo will both be playing Hale County the next time they take the field. Bibb County will host Hale County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Gordo will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
