Volleyball Game Preview: Huntington Raiders vs. Evangel Christian Academy Eagles

Huntington is 0-7 against Evangel Christian Academy since October of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Raiders will face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Huntington lost 3-0 to Bossier on Wednesday.

Huntington was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-15, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Evangel Christian Academy came up short against West Monroe on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Rebels recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Evangel Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Huntington, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Huntington suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Evangel Christian Academy when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
