Softball Recap: Alhambra Find Success

Alhambra lost to Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary back in April of 2025, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 8-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Alhambra saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylie Escobedo, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Alhambra's record now sits at 8-6. As for Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.

Coming up, Alhambra will head out on the road to face off against Glendale at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Nitros have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season. Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary has already played their next contest (against Wiseburn- Da Vinci), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
