Softball Game Preview: John Marshall Justices vs. Richmond High School for the Arts Bulldogs

After both having extra time off, the John Marshall Justices and the Richmond High School for the Arts Bulldogs will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

John Marshall managed to slip by Petersburg the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Justices came up short against the Crimson Wave two weeks ago, falling 38-28.

Meanwhile, Richmond High School for the Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 22-0 to Armstrong.

John Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Richmond High School for the Arts, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

John Marshall came out on top in a nail-biter against Richmond High School for the Arts in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Justices repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
