Winfield's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They secured a 61-55 W over the Hurricane Redskins. This was a revenge game for the Generals: when they faced off against the Redskins back in December of 2024, they had to take a 62-58 defeat.

Hurricane lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sean Legros, who posted 12 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson O'Dell, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 17 points.

Winfield has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. Hurricane has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Winfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 87-52 victory against Poca on the 21st. As for Hurricane, they are taking a road trip to challenge Sissonville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
